Camp Overview: The Ben Freakley School of Soccer exists to improve players at all levels of the game. From beginning players just learning the game, to advanced players with aspirations of playing at higher levels, the Ben Freakley School of Soccer fits the needs of all players. During this week of camp, players will: spend time on the ball, be placed in competitive games, attend speed and agility training sessions, and be placed in game environments where tactical decision-making will improve. The goal of the week is to improve technical proficiency, self confidence on the ball, and a players ability to make decisions in the game.

Goalkeeper Camp: Designed to meet the specific needs of the modern goalkeeper, the BFSS Goalkeeper camps focus on training the specific skill set necessary for goalkeeper success.  Each day goalkeepers attending camp will have specialized goalkeeper training sessions. Shot-stopping, dealing with crosses, distribution and foot skills are just some of the topics addressed throughout the week with our goalkeepers. From basic to advanced goalkeeping skills, the BFSS Goalkeeper Camps cover all technical, tactical and physical aspects of the game.  Each day, goalkeepers will also be placed with teams for competition.  Director of Goalkeeping, Clark McCarthy designs curriculum and training sessions for the goalkeeping camp.
